CTP Aviation is managed and staffed by a world-class team of aviation experts:

Reid Dennis, Mr. Dennis is Chairman of CTP Aviation, a company he founded in 2000. The advent of CTP stemmed from his avid interest in aviation and over 9000 hours in a series of aircraft, from single engine piston to twin-engine jets. He is responsible for the level of safety and service excellence fostered by the company, as well as the exacting execution of detail.

Mr. Dennis also founded Institutional Venture Partners (“IVP”), and has been an active individual and corporate venture capital investor for over five decades. He was personally involved with early-stage investments in American Microsystems, Ampex, California Microwave, Coherent Radiation and Measurex. As a corporate executive, Mr. Dennis was responsible for the successful entry of Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company, and then the American Express Company, into the venture capital field. After 21 years with the two companies, Mr. Dennis resigned from American Express to form IVA in 1974 and, subsequently, IVP in 1980.

Mr. Dennis is a past Chairman and President of the National Venture Capital Association (“NVCA”) and a past President of the Western Association of Venture Capitalists. In April 2000, he received the “Lifetime Achievement Award” from the NVCA. Mr. Dennis was also a founder and an original alumni investment manager of both the Stanford Business School Trust and the Stanford Engineering Venture Capital Fund. Mr. Dennis holds a B.S. in Engineering and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.

Selwyn House, Mr. House is President and CEO of CTP Aviation. He has spent more than 35 years in aviation management and has unique experience in both fixed and rotary-wing operations. Mr. House managed the Aviation Department of Chevron Canada; was a member of Chevron’s global aviation optimization team, a chief pilot at Dome Petroleum, and an aviation consultant to the Province of Ontario, Canada.

In addition to his extensive aviation management experience, Mr. House has more than 18,000 hours of flight time and is type-rated in numerous jet aircraft, including multiple Citations, the Hawker 800, Challenger 300/350 and Falcon 2000. He holds twelve helicopter type-ratings, including the Sikorsky S-76 and S-61. He attended the University of Calgary, studied Business Administration, and was the first civilian to attend a Canadian Forces Instrument Check Pilot School. Mr. House has been an active team leader, training captain, chief pilot and aviation manager throughout his distinguished career; he has been instrumental in guiding CTP from a single Cessna Citation to an impressive fleet of world-class business jets, including four newly delivered Challenger 350s.

John Fulton, Mr. John Fulton is Vice President of Operations. He has flown more than 200 types in both land and amphibian aircraft. Mr. Fulton was instrumental in formulating company training and operating procedures, and has led the development of a growing team of exceptional pilots. Over the years he has developed and refined Standard Operating Procedures that have contributed to CTP Aviation’s high standards of safety and excellence. To that end, he is also responsible for authoring the Safety Program, Emergency Response Plan and establishing the Company’s Safety Committee.

Mr. Fulton holds 16 type-ratings in jet aircraft, including the Hawker 800, Challenger 300 and Falcon 2000, and has in excess of 23,000 hours of flight experience. He epitomizes the highest level of safety and professionalism, enabling the pilot group to emulate his standard of excellence. Mr. Fulton holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Embry-Riddle University and has an extensive background in all aspects of aviation.
